Be proactive vs. reactive
When disaster strikes, time is of the essence. See how these emergency situations benefited from a proactive rather than a reactive response, which saved them time and money.
Pipe Burst at a Local School
Our team received a phone call at 3:30 AM from a facility director at a school about a pipe that had burst in a hallway. Affected areas were the Principal’s office, computer lab, hallway, and two classrooms. Our team arrived on site within 45 minutes of the call to extract all standing water and start the mitigation process. Once the walls and ceilings were opened up, asbestos was found which delayed the job. Our crew got their job completed within four days before abatement began. The facility manager couldn’t have been happier with how he could depend on us when a bad situation turned worse.
Winter Storm Ice Dam Causes Roof Leak
We received a call about a private school that had a leaking roof in the kitchen from a winter storm ice dam. Our team arrived on site with equipment within 40 minutes of the call, and started the mitigation work within the hour. Each morning, our team turned the machines off to accommodate the client’s need to prepare food for the children. We advised the client how to turn them back on every day after lunch. The job took around four days and the client soon became a high priority client after a day of meeting us because of being so impressed with our team’s communication, hard work, effort, and the strong trust that he experienced with us.
Why do I need a priority response?
When tornadoes hit Nashville in March 2020, many businesses experienced some sort of loss and we (nor our competitors) could get to all of them fast enough because of the volume and need. Some businesses were quoted a 6-week response time which could be detrimental to operations and the facility. We even had several clients call and offer to pay extra to get to the top of the list.
When a disaster strikes that affects more than just your facility, priority response is crucial. With our Emergency Response Plans, you are guaranteed to be at the top of our list to respond to, should that happen to your community.
